The Fight Against Child Trafficking | Save the Young Girls
Nigerian Community in Collaboration with Nigerian Embassy in Cote d’Ivoire has come to the rescue of 15 young girls, trafficked into Cote d’Ivoire from Nigeria. These girls were rescued from these evil traffickers from different interiors cities of Cote d’Ivoire.
About 15 girls have been rescued from the traffickers by the Rapid Response Team, an Intervention unit of the Nigerian Community in Cote d’Ivoire. These girls were reported to the Nigerian Embassy in Cote d’Ivoire from the interiors. These girls have been trafficked from different states in Nigeria. 6 girls from Akwa Ibom state, 1 girl from Abia state, 1 girl from Plateau state, 3 girls from Delta state, and 3 girls from Edo state. These girls were seduced by a better job outside their country not knowing that they would be lured into prostitution.
Nigerian Community in Cote d’Ivoire under the leadership of Chief Micheal Emeka Onwuchelu will not relent in saving these young girls and redeeming the image of all Nigerians living in Cote d’Ivoire.
Also, the Nigerian Community in Cote d’Ivoire has also facilitated their safe return back to Nigeria
